MCI’s Social Domain’s origin is based on the ethical ideology that we as an entity have a responsibility to society at large. The Social Domain in MCI seeks to work to improve the existing human condition and positively change society's response to chronic problems.
We are concerned with social problems, their causes, their solutions and their human impacts. We work with individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities.
MCI works with its global network to develop sustainable strategies and solutions through consulting, research, and cross-sector collaboration in various social missions.
The main aim of MCI’s Social Domain is to generate profit to further our social upliftment goals. We accomplished this through a variety of ways and depends on the structure of the social mission.

Who we serve and influence
Primarily:
Secondarily, funders and social capital investors who want knowledge about social enterprise and best practices to inform their investment/gifting strategies and who seek networking opportunities with other grantmakers and investors who share an interest in social enterprise.
The MCI Social Domain has five goals that encompass both the philosophy and mission. They are:
- To be a firmly grounded company with social values and ethical standards,
- To prepare the knowledge base, values, and skills to be competent in social delivery systems that improves the well being of client systems.
- To take an active role, in addressing social problems and to challenge social, economic, and environmental injustice.
- To provide the social service delivery system in the immediate metropolitan area a pool of professionally and culturally competent generalist social work practitioners.
- To provide opportunities for professional growth to social workers, social entrepreneurs and other human service practitioners in the community through participation in special events.
