Summary of position:

MCI is looking for a fulltime Senior Designer with 10 plus years of experience designing for the brands to help lead the creative vision of MCI. This role will be both visionary and hands-on, partnering closely with the Creative Director and Senior Copywriter.
This is a very exciting opportunity for a seasoned creative professional passionate about creating compelling designs to enhance relevant sensory experience.
The Senior Designer should be able to demonstrate through past work the ability to craft brilliant designs and concepts both online and offline as well as the ability to maintain a consistent look and feel across multiple touch points.

Responsibilities:
Lead creative design development of concepts and ideas for client projects across a range of media including but not limited to video, display signage, direct mail, email and online assets.
Participation in new business strategic development and ideation.Attend all briefs and internal reviews of projects. Actively participate and listen to feedback for integration of brief requirements. Attend client presentations with Senior Copywriter in place of Creative Director if required.
Work with producers and account teams to make sure all project mandatories and schedules are adhered to thoroughly.
Contribute to agency knowledge bank by sharing, staying abreast of and honing best practices in art direction for the retail space.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience as a designer in agency environment or equivalent client-side experience; working on retail accounts, specifically with creating in-store environments
Committed to quality, service, and efficiency
A self-starter and a fast learner
Show diplomacy, flexibility, and grace under pressure
Excellent interpersonal skills with people at all levels of a business
Extreme organization with regards to asset management and file maintenance
Strong command of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite required.
Mac/PC fluency required; prior experience working on the Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design) in a PC environment a major plus
Familiarity with the print, video and digital (online) production processes a plus
Eats, sleeps and breathes technology
Portfolio that shows relevant marketing/advertising experience and creative acumen
Proven ability and desire to dive deep into a brand’s ecosystem, past, present and current and be able to express this vision through design
BA/MA in communication arts-related major or related work experience desired

 

Associate Media Director

Summary of position:

MCI is looking for an Associate Media Director (AMD) with 8+ years of experience in media planning and buying with a focus on digital media. The right candidate will possess a proven track record of building and implementing digital strategies as well as managing a team. Ideal candidates will have past client experience in fmcg , retail and technology.

The Associate Media Director is an expert on the clients’ business and a leader on the business with the clients and within the agency. The Associate Media Director is responsible for demonstrating a strong working knowledge of the entire media landscape space and available media research. This individual is responsible for identifying business opportunities and solutions on a regular basis.

Candidates for this position will show a mastery of the digital marketing landscape, have deep relationships with publishers and technology companies and have a passion for finding and vetting cutting edge opportunities for our agency and client partners. The right candidate will have the ability to affect the big picture and have the tactical skills to plan and execute all media. He/She must also be able to interpret data, uncover behavioral insights and articulate strategic approaches for the client’s business. In this position, you will be tasked with providing inspiration for creative teams to develop great work and facilitate communications between the creative and media teams to ensure that ideas can be activated within media budgets as well as media rules and specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day relationship with key clients
  • Manage media team(s) to complete tasks including the media planning, buying and optimization for digital, traditional and experiential media.
  • Create and sell through media and marketing recommendations to new and existing clients
  • Develop/build relationships with media partners, sourcing and cultivating technologies and opportunities that will advance our clients’ business
  • Stay alert for new thinking in the planning process, as well as sharing trends in media, lifestyle and technology with department as well as Account and Creative teams
  • Consult on digital media trends and technologies and solutions across all agency business
  • 8+ years of experience in media strategy, planning and buying
  • Experience in retail and technology marketing
  • Proven track record of building dynamic and unconventional media campaigns
  • In depth knowledge and experience with research tools such as MRI, Simmons, Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, dynamic logic, comScore, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to craft an argument that excites clients and sells through ideas
  • Hands on experience executing 3rd party ad serving, reporting and optimization including the integration of multi source marketing data into comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to run a project from start to finish
  • Mastery of computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Social Media Intern

Reports to: Social Media Manager

Location: Pune , India

Summary of position:

MCI seeks a Social Media Intern to help manage a back-to-school campaign for an online retailer. The ideal candidate will be active in several social networks and interested in leading and growing the social media following on behalf of our client. They will have savvy communication skills and understand the language and best practices for engaging in social media. They must be comfortable with engaging customers directly and speaking on behalf of a company, both in private and in public. Lastly, they must be interested in shaping the editorial direction of a community and planning out communication, including both publishing and following up on multiple simultaneous lines of communication.

This is a 3-month internship position starting in the beginning of October, with the possibility of extension depending on other online community management needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Social Media Manger to research content and develop an editorial calendar for the client during course of the campaign. -Creatively and proactively assist and engage customers in social networks. -Author compelling social media status updates and tailor content to optimize engagement. – Stay abreast to online trends, events and content to share on social media (i.e. viral videos, pop culture happenings) -Act as a community advocate for the client’s products and services, engaging their customer base by responding to their requests and needs. This may include directing customer support questions to the appropriate channels. -Establish metrics and prepare regular reports, including recommendations for improvements or changes. -Stay up to date on new social media tools, best practices and how other organizations and companies are using them, so that can continue to be an early adopter of these technologies.
